Planet IX launched on Polygon in 2021 and quickly became one of the biggest Web3 strategy games. Players trade land, build territories, and stake assets for rewards. The ecosystem’s main token, IXT, has nearly 250,000 holders, with about 70% staked — showing strong community trust. Planet IX is now releasing its biggest upgrade yet, powered by AI. This expansion introduces new assets like AI Credits and Artificial Core NFTs, which drive the next phase of the game. A new utility token, AIX, has also launched with a fixed supply of 306M. AIX will play a major role in Season 2, offering competitive APY rewards and exclusive DeFi benefits based on player progress. To support faster transactions and a larger user base, Planet IX is migrating from Polygon to Base, bringing improved performance and greater opportunities for players.
