BEAN is a gamified crypto mining protocol on Base where players compete in fast 60-second rounds to earn ETH and BEAN tokens. It combines competitive gaming with DeFi rewards, giving players real stakes and real payouts in every round. The game runs on a 5×5 grid with 25 blocks. Players place ETH on the block they believe will win. When the timer ends, one block is randomly selected on-chain as the winner. ETH from losing blocks is redistributed to players on the winning block based on how much they deployed, after small protocol fees. Each round also mints 1 BEAN token, rewarded to a miner on the winning block. A growing Beanpot jackpot can trigger anytime for a large BEAN bonus, and the unique roasting mechanic rewards players who wait longer before claiming their BEAN tokens.
